The Annual General Meeting of the Cycle Ayrshire section of Cycling UK.
Any full (not affiliate) Cycling UK member can attend and vote at the AGM of any Member Group on production of a valid Cycling UK membership card.
Full members may also apply for committee positions.
The main business of our AGM is to review the activities of the past year, elect the officers required by Cycling UK, and the other committee members who are necessary for the efficient running of Cycle Ayrshire.
After the closure of this formal part of the evening, the meeting is open to a general discussion about any aspect of the club, but particularly the future.
The initial part is the place for formal motions to be proposed along with nominations for the committee.
These should be submitted to the Secretary at least two weeks before the meeting.
This years´ venue is:
Stair Community Centre, Trabboch
All members are invited to attend.
The agenda consists of Annual Reports from Committee Officers and Run Co-ordinators and is the ideal way to know how and what we are doing.
It is also the opportunity for you to bring forward suggestions, propose candidates for election to the committee or simply add to the discussion.
Agenda items, motions supported by two Cycling UK members, and nominations for committee membership should be submitted to the secretary at least two weeks before the meeting.
Phone 01290 550276 or email contact@cycleayrshire.co.uk to submit any items.
Please note - Only members can raise agenda items so please quote your club membership number in any request for an agenda addition.
We don´t expect members to be familiar with the protocol which is determined by Cycling UK´s constitution to which we are bound, but we will advise if you wish to raise an issue at the AGM.
