For 2008, we haveThe Big 150km Cycle..
This is our "classic" KM150 event which starts from Millbrae, (Ayr Rugby Club) situated behind the Brigadoon Hotel in the historic town of Alloway.
Leaving from the start, there is a pleasant run down a tree-lined avenue with the River Doon on the left, passing between the Old Brig o' Doon and the Robert Burns Monumentbefore passing Alloway Kirk (of Tam o' Shanter fame)
This event is organised by Ayrshire CTC under the auspices of Audax UK.
The Kirkpatrick MacMillan 150, has a start time of 9.00am and is approx. 155km long.
Starting from Alloway, the route takes you round South Ayrshire and parts of Dumfries & Galloway.
The entry fee is £4.00 for AUK, CTC and BCF members or £6.00 for others, due to insurance cover requirements.

The price includes use of showers at the finish for those who wish to clean up before heading home.
If you plan to enter on the day instead of entering earlier via mail, then please turn up around 8:30am.
